I don't really know if it's a bug. Probably it is. Ocelot's release dirt particles when they swim. What do you think about it? -- SrDonaldo 23:09, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

You probably saw an Ocelot sprinting that was above a dirt tile in water. This happens to players as well when they attempt to sprint in water, the block below them will kick off particles. I've seen Ocelots actually kick up water particles, but that's clearly from their sprinting which makes sense. So I don't see how that's a bug. A player can also kick up water particles by sprinting in water and not having a block below them. (Trenix 23:15, 30 January 2012 (UTC))

I checked again and they do release dirt particles and bubbles too. I'm playing in creative because the world where I play do not have jungles. Do you think it only happens in Creative?~I tried to upload a screenshot but I failed. -- SrDonaldo 23:26, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

Hey Trenix,

First of all, thanks for your contributions here. They're greatly appreciated.

Sorry about reverting your edit. My revision was only to remove your signature, NOT to remove your contributions. Thanks for letting me know about the signing policy. I did not read the top paragraph completely, so my bad on that part.

I understand that the guidelines for that page allows users to sign their edits, but that does not mean you can make threats. You might want to hold back on that threatening or possessive attitude of yours. This kind of attitude is not acceptable on any wiki, and does not help with resolving conflicts. Other people might take such threats as personal attacks, which are NOT ALLOWED on MinecraftWiki, nor any other wikis or sites. You do not report to admins about "violations" without first clarifying with the other person did about what he/she did. If you jump to conclusions, that only makes things worse. Whatever the other person did, it could have been a misunderstanding, so don't jump to conclusions and make threats. (That might, in fact, get yourself banned if it gets serious enough.) Normally signatures and attribution are not allowed on article pages, and are only allowed on Talk pages. I did not purposely remove you edits just for fun if that's what you thought because of my edits/conversation to another user; I missed over the guidelines on that specific page, so I removed the whole edit(s) containing signatures.

Also, please realize that whenever you submit an edit there is a paragraph right above the "Save page" button, which states that "You agree to license your contribution pursuant to the Curse.com Terms of Service." I understand that you want to cling to your own submissions and be credited for them; I understand that you are possessive of your edits, but this isn't the place to do that. Please don't get possessive because once you submit an edit, the content is no longer yours to keep to yourself or prevent others from editing. Under the "Please note" heading, it specifically states, "If you do not want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it. For the signature signing, you can only sign on Talk pages, not on the article pages, but for this instance I see that the page allows signing on article pages. Normally this is not allowed, which caused me to make a mistake.

Lastly, if you've neglected to notice, I've been editing for some time (here and also on Wikipedia), so I would think I know what I'm doing. Why didn't you look at my userpage and my contributions before your accusations, assumptions, and threats?

And with your comment about Wikipedia: This is not Wikipedia. This is MinecraftWiki. I try to go by the same guidelines, but this is not Wikipedia, and the admins and the users aren't expected to accomplish/don't expect that this wiki accomplishes the same things. Yes, there are rules and guidelines here that everyone needs to follow, and we should try our best to do what the big boys do, but in the end, this is still only a fan wiki.

And please don't repeat to me whatever things I have said to others. (I might be hypocritical, but hopefully that will be fixed).

I hope this clears up any confusion or feelings you might have had because of my reverts, but next time please don't jump to conclusions and make threats. Never, ever, threaten another user with admin reporting or any other threats. (I almost posted a flame response here because of what you said.) Asterick6, nothing in the wiki states that I can't tell you that I'll report you to the admins if you keep it up. After seeing your actions and response it's quite obvious that you need to relax. You're using my response as a threat, which is on a whole different level then I intended it to be. I have spoken to you and not an admin, hoping you'd learn not to do something without reading the rules first. It's not anyone's responsibility to remind you, this was just common courtesy. No where does it say I must contact you first, in fact, you should of contacted me before you deleted and deupdated my posts, but you didn't.

In addition, your PS is offensive regardless how you put it. That is why I refuse to apologize, especially when you were the only one at fault anyway. That is the type of stuff that most likely will get you in trouble. I will once again forget this ever happened and you should straighten out your attitude. It was a major failure and mistake on your part to assume bad faith and feel like you can order people around online. You weren't even talking in an effective manner that assumes good faith. It was funny how you think you have the right to do anything and report people. Seems like you have a slight case of Internet vigilantism and toughness. Keep acting stiff and prude, and maybe you should be working instead of wasting your time. Just remember that you'll need to change the way you talk to people online - the way you're doing it now only brings more trouble. I take back everything I've said before, but I'm not apologizing for my behavior. On a wiki like this which mainly read by children and teenagers, it was a MAJOR mistake on your part to assume things and respond in your manner as well as push complete responsibility with no assumption of good faith. So who the hell did you think you were? A smartass adult that knows exactly what he's doing? You sound like an adult who's never moved his online conversations outside of business emails and talked to kids seriously and gave them the same respect and courtesy as you give other adults. And learn how a wiki works before applying any of your own principles and attitudes to other's actions. Assuming bad faith and speedy reverting other's edits with inflammatory comments and messages is NOT the way it works on a wiki. Once you do that, part of the problem becomes your fault. Don't expect people to take it normally, especially online, since much of the communication process is lost without context, body language and tone. And don't expect someone not to take your replies seriously if you make threats and talk to people in this manner. You posted your signature, so that gave me reason to revert. I don't care if you're posting bug reports, you replied in a way that was condescending, threatening, and accusatory. Since the rules now explicitly and prominently state that such actions as I did are allowed, I'll make sure not to do that specific action again, but don't think your own actions are completely acceptable. - Asterick6 02:22, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
