You can setup a hamachi LAN which allows people in your hamachi network to connect to your LAN via hamachi connection.

As of Minecraft 1.3.2 there has been a bug which causes your LAN IP to be incorrectly displayed and woud look something like this:

You can overcome this by doing the following, Take the port number you got when you 'Open to LAN' and your hamachi IP and combine them. e.g. 5.5.31.32.102 + 0.0.0.0:76152 = 5.5.31.32.102:76152. And then you give the resulting IP to the people who want to connect and they connect with direct connect.

To find your Hamachi IP, open Hamachi and copy the IP at the top of the box that comes before the /

To find your port number, While in Minecraft press ESC and click 'Open to LAN' and then click 'Start LAN world' and a message should appear in the chat that looks just like the image displayed on the right here. Alternativly, you can press / and type 'publish' and then if you press ↵ Enter your world will be opened to LAN.
