Black Glitches
I don't know what they are, or why they are there, anyone care to elaborate? –The preceding unsigned comment was added by XS0NARx (Talk|Contribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
- This page doesn't mention black glitches, though I assume you mean when sometimes the shadows of blocks, whilst in sunlight, still have default light rating of 0 regardless. I couldn't find an entry on it on the wiki (though I'm certain I read about it after I experienced it myself), but I googled up a thread explaining it here. ACLECTASIS 23:03, 20 November 2010 (CST)

[edit] Clouds
Though it says clouds don't affect sunlight, it seems as though when there is a large cloud cover overhead the lighting dims, possibly to light level 14. I doubt it's just because open sky seems brighter, and I've had this happen on two different texture packs. I haven't tried this on the default but I was curious to know if I'm mistaken or if others have seen this. --Myuzi 22:35, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
No it does not at all not even to 14. Blaxout1213 01:05, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Directions
Notch said on Twitter that the Minecraft sun rises in the North. Many pages on the wiki (that is, the ones which use compass rose directions) would have to be edited because of this because they assume that the sun rises in the East. Ozzatron 21:16, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
- I was thinking that too. I'm guessing people will still assume that the sun rises in the east for most purposes, just because it's simpler to describe and explain than arbitrarily rotating the world 90 degress just because Notch says so. -- Carralpha 19:02, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
- WTF?!? What defines which direction East is other than the fact that the Sun rises in it? There was nothing in the game to give anyone reason to call the direction that the sun was rising in "North". What possible point can there be to changing it? --Ericjs 02:32, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Round Sun and Moon
Wow, Notch is really making the sun and moon round!?
Personalty, I like that idea, I sometimes use a texture pack to make them round, but why would he? I thought he always liked having every thing to be blocks and it would ruin lots of fan art. Its not like he couldn't have made them round in the beginning, why now? Unless of cause it is a joke. --Cby 09:42, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
