[edit] Spider Eye Farming
It doesn't work, they don't drop if you kill them with a mob grinder. Please confirm it someone 89.204.153.92 20:20, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
- confirmed. they drop from mobs which directly killed, but not from mobs that died from environmental damage (such as the lava in a mob grinder). have been testing out a new grinder design for a couple days, and in thousands of drops not a single spider eye. (playing 1.9.4 btw). --67.194.201.211 05:39, 20 October 2011 (UTC)

Tested on ~100 Spiders in a Spider Dungeon with a Diamond Sword with Looting III, Sharpness IV, Knockback II ! Missingno 26 10:24, 18 January 2012 (UTC)

When the poison wears off, you will have at least 1/2 heart left. From a different perspective, the most damage it can do is reduce your health to 1/2 heart. Either phrase can be considered correct, depending on how you read it; I've changed the wording to avoid that ambiguity. -- Orthotope 09:15, 24 February 2012 (UTC)
