I need clarity: Do we allow vanity articles or not?
Sure, there should be an article for Notch, but you? me? citricsquid? AVM?
I think these should be moved to User:x. What are your thoughts?

Too late I've been moving tuns of them

User pages should only be allowed under "User:Name". Making user pages as main articles only clogs and disorganizes the wiki. This page should not exist regardless of the fact that the subject matter is the main editor of the wiki whom is the only one who has the power to delete this page. In that sense, keeping this page alive is an abuse of power. -KinoftheFlames 13:01, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
This is stupid, I don't think being an idiot with a huge ego is grounds for making a page about yourself. Unless it is, in which case I'm off to make my own vanity page, and if you do anything to it I'll call you a hypocrite. Then I'll laugh at you. PurelyAtomic 16:50, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- Actually their is a wiki rule that pages about users are allowed if they are known throughout the community or hold a specific role of importance. Quatroking for example maintains the wiki, this is noteworthy. HOWEVER the Quatroking page should then contain detailed about him of importance in a concise and informative manner, not whatever he feels like adding such as a user page. So please, feel free to edit that page to bring it up to wiki standards. -KinoftheFlames 17:04, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- I've edited many wiki's of this style on plenty of games and this is the only one with an article pertaining to the admin of the wiki. Information like the stuff in this page is what admins put in their respective talk pages. Having his own page when a userpage is available is quite silly. --Moxxy 18:37, 30 August 2010 (PDT)
- I would have to agree that this page is in poor taste, and needs to be deleted. Anything you have to say about yourself Quatro can be said on your userpage. BTW, the wiki is NOT maintained by this single user, it is written and maintained by the entire community. He is simply an administrator. This does not make his voice any more important than any other users', it simply means he has the janitorial tools required to keep this wiki clean and well organized. -- Wynthyst

--Gdscei 20:11, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Deletion Request
As I outlined lightly in the request, this page has been vandalized and there was no previous revision to go off of. If a user (or admin) would like a specific page, you generally edit User:Username to your liking.
To the couple of people who edited the page after the vandal, please do not do that in the future. :) Either revert the page, or else use the delete tags outlined at the Wikipedia.org help. You should keep discussion here, on the talk page. Sunsmoon 08:37, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
