Talk:Capture the Flag
I want to know. Is this fan-thought of, or was this information actually true and stated by Notch. Gordenfreechmen 20:40, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yes it's true, it was stated in a blog post --Aza1810 13:52, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
- A link to the reference should be made. For someone like me that doens't believe everything I read, it remains as fan wishful thinking if no reference is linked. Skaruts 22:42, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
Does this warrant its own page?
Agreed; we could divide it into different sections, one for each feature. --Yours truly, franx12 18:05, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
I think it should stay so it can remind Notch to see if he can create it Benawesome150
I thing we should REMIND notch, or ask him about it. THEAVENGER119
 Team Fortress
You realise Team Fortress was just a simple Mod to Half Life, and that the only version of Team Fortress to have game modes AT ALL was TF2. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by PixelScientist (Talk|Contribs) 02:40, 6 August 2011 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
- Well who knows...we'll see eventually. - Asterick6 22:31, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
Seems to be a lot of speculation about this game mode, rather than facts. --Throex 16:43, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
 Increasing page usage
Should we add a suggestions part to help increase views and posts on the page? like someone suggests "make a zipline" to increase traveling, then someone increases with grappling hooks, then swinging vines, ect. ect., ect., no, i am not calling this idea my own, i am merely suggesting it, and cannot tell who first thought it up. 126.96.36.199 12:20, 5 February 2012 (UTC) (just refer to me as rhou)
Hm, Okay, That's sounds like a good idea. :) Spencer10APSC 12:37, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
 Different colored armor

 Where did this come from?
Hey, umm... I found this: "This game mode has been thought to receive horrible reviews." sitting at the bottom of the page, but I do not know what it means or if it is considered spam, vandalizim or whatnot. Can you guys please help me out? 184.108.40.206 21:25, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- Yea, that kind of statement shouldn't be there.

 Forgot to ask first. :/
Would any of you consider helping with an article about suggesting ideas to mojang, or is that just a bad idea in general? I have what I tried to add, forgot I should ask first.
This is merely an area to put suggestions for Jeb or whoever might want to work on capture the flag in the future. All suggestions are welcome, put them in here yourself. With the addition of command blocks, and colored leather armor, it is easy to have a basic combat arena set up. Just have it so people respawn with a set inventory, maybe a few different classes, and with enchantments "Tag" the other person by brutally bashing in their skull with a sharp stick. However, a "flag" would require two different blocks that are: Easily broken by hand Have a unique interaction with redstone, or something that can produce a redstone pulse, and Can be replaced easily Essentially, what this calls for is colored TNT. TNT can be broken by hand instantly, has a unique reaction of exploding violently when exposed to redstone, which can be used to destroy a redstone torch powering other redstone. However, then you could take your own flag and throw it into your base's capture point. There is no easy way to check if the TNT block has been taken without risking it exploding or preventing it from being replaced. Therefore, this "colored TNT" block would need to have 2-4 unique variants. What might happen is TNT with a set requirement of pulse strength for detonation, without going over. More suggestions?
