The Nether Star is an item drop from the Wither that is currently used only in crafting beacons. It has the same animated glow that enchanted items use.

- The Nether Star drop is not affected by the Looting enchantment.
- The Nether Star drop is not able to be blown up by an explosion. If a creeper blows up near the drop, it will still be there.
