The Electric Furnace cooks or smelts materials once every 7 seconds, or 30% faster than the Furnace and 12.5% faster than the Iron Furnace. It uses energy or batteries instead of fuel. Fuel efficiency (using a Generator) is: via battery, 28% greater than Iron Furnace; via cables (with two or more machines running simultaneously), equivalent to Iron Furnace.

The Tesla Coil is not used in any recipes.

-A Wrench will successfully dismantle this block. A Pick or Drill will only produce a Machine. Anything else yields nothing.

-The Tesla Coil has a range of 4 meters (9x9x9 meter cube with itself in the center) and can strike mobs (players included) through walls.

-It deals 10 hearts of damage per strike. Each strike takes 5000 EU (half a battery).

-The cool-down is directly proportional to how many EU/s the Tesla Coil receives. 50 EU/s means the cool-down is 5 seconds, 25 EU/s means it's 10 seconds.

-The strike has no visible or audible effect.

-Water and lava have no effect on the Tesla Coil.

-If the Tesla Coil is fully charged, it will look for at mob to strike if any of the following applies:

-An active signal source, such as a lever or a redstone torch, exists on a surface directly adjacent to the Tesla Coil (but not on the Tesla Coil itself).

-A piece of redstone dust, placed next to the Tesla Coil, begins transmitting a signal into it. (A continuous signal will only cause one strike. An alternating one, such as from a clock generator, will cause multiple strikes.)

-While looking for a mob to strike, the Tesla Coil drains slightly less than 40 EU/s (?verify).
