They are silent and have black mouth and eyes, and a tan body and they flap their wings. They will fly higher very quickly if attacked. They do not attack the player. The file for its skin is called copperbat.png and is found in the run/.minecrft/miecraft.jar/mobs. It has 8 hearts. it was killed, however it drops items from the mod, such as copper ingots and copper blocks, and also bones.
