Ez is Notch's ex-wife. They were married on August 13th, 2011 after becoming engaged during a vacation in Indonesia,[1][2] and separated on August 15th, 2012.[3]
She likes to play games (including Minecraft). She's also an ex-administrator on the Minecraft Forums.
She is sometimes on popular Minecraft servers and is classified as a special guest in some Let's Play videos including Minecraft Workbench's Family Adventures video.[4]
Her brother is Kristoffer, an artist whose paintings appear in the game.
On Ez's birthday, one of the splashes on the title screen of Minecraft says 'Happy birthday, ez!'.
